designing future

on October 26, 2008

i try to keep on reading about the hole, as i might call it… the economic crisis.

discovering nouriel roubini’s voice has made me feel relief. he is talking truth, and it seems that some people are aware of that.

i knew about him through this report in spanish >>, there is another report in english >>, and it seems that he has his own webpage. (i haven’t visited yet)

interesting enough, this man is called mr. doom in the english world, and in the us his speech has been known for long. is it the way the english world acknowledge a fine analyst?

i am reading what journalists are writing, what bankers are declaring… and mr. roubini is the only one who talks clearly and without messing around with useless terminology. he can be easily understood by citizens who have not a culture in the economic science.

years ago, the music & film industry were the first to yell how the internet was hurting its finances. in real, many anonymous people were already changing many concepts. it has been as if something hidden was pushing things from the back yard, and there has been many levels of adaptation, evolution or becoming another thing.

… the internet has also changed the way i write: posts must be short, clear and go to the point. readers jump using keywords.

one positive sign of a new flowing showing a fair play with internet & independent production is this >>.

it can be seen as an independent company finding its place. so i see it. it is a new statement showing up. (well, new for some people, auriea harvey & michaël samyn have been working its way for many many years)

here we are, users building up new nets in our particular ways, designing future. it’s unstoppable.
